Peter D. Smith
Born in England and having travelled extensively for business, living and working in may different countries in Africa, Europe and the USA, Peter Smith is now firmly established in Montreal where he paints and writes. He spends more time these days painting the vivid and lively scenes he encounters. He began painting over 25 years ago and examples of his work have been sold and are in display in the UK, Canada, Egypt, Spain and Australia. His art reflects his outlook on life, with bright colors, happy subjects and intelligent use of light and shadow; he is particularly renowned for his portrayal of skies and clouds, something he learned from studying the great landscapists.
