Multilingual audiovisual tools on family and conjugal violence

 

The Shield produces and distributes two multilingual audiovisual tools for ethnic communities in their own language, based on specific needs and requests of the communities themselves.

Violence Hurts Us All I deals with various aspects of conjugal and family violence. The topics covered and languages available are outlined below. Topics were selected in partnership with the particular communities.

  • Arabic: elder abuse, conjugal violence
  • Armenian: child abuse, elder abuse, conjugal violence
  • Bengali: conjugal violence, children witnesses  
  • Cantonese: elder abuse
  • Farsi: conjugal violence
  • Greek: elder abuse, child abuse, men who abuse
  • Haitian Creole: conjugal violence
  • Hindi: conjugal violence, children witnesses
  • Italian: conjugal violence, children witnesses
  • Mandarin: children witnesses
  • Portuguese: conjugal violence, socio-cultural aspects, legal aspects, intervention
  • Russian: violence against women, psycho-legal aspects, children witnesses
  • Spanish: conjugal violence, youth & violence
  • Tamil: conjugal violence, children witnesses
  • Urdu: conjugal violence, children witnesses
