Biography. Hovig Papazian
Hovig Papazian has returned full time to his original passion for painting since 2002, after working in the fashion industry for many years. Apart from exhibiting his art in Galerie d’art Hovig in Griffintown, between 2005-2012 where he participated successfully in Journées de la Culture and Festival Montreal En Lumiere, Nuit Blanche, he also participated in many group and solo exhibits outside his gallery. Having a creative mother and an insightful father, he grew up questioning and realizing that most of the principles projected by his teachers were unable to see, touch, hear, smell, taste or love. Virtually living in a world filled with books, music and colours, he travelled through life by painting, sculpting, acting, designing, fashion and writing, self-taught or by teachers. He is inspired by nature and his intuition and his dream is to travel through art beyond the imaginary borders of a two-dimensional reality.
