Biography: Alfred Blanchard
Alfred Blanchard was born in Rouen, France in 1943. Bachelor of Fine Arts at the University of Marseille, he studied at the Experimental School of Lorien (1967-1970) and Estienne in Paris (1970-1973). He uses oil on canvas, watercolors and charcoal. Solo and group exhibitions in Paris: Salon International de Vichy (1969), Galerie Vendôme (1970), Galerie Maresca (1973). He has won a second prize at the Grand Prix des Provinces Françaises (1974). Permanent exposition: Lorraine gallery (1975-1979), Galerie Gendron of Paris (1984-1987).
