Caroline Brochu
Art is defined by the artist, Caroline Brochu, as the transparency of the female spirit. This spirit is combined with a mosaic of windows supported and assembled by a path of education, experience and the belief in her art. Art studies in Visual arts at the University of Quebec in Montreal allow Caroline to theorize about methods and artistic techniques. Her stay in Paris served as a springboard to a career in art.
The element of improvisation has a solemn place in her work. It cites the beginning of a progression of the artistic route. During her studies, she discovered the importance of the accident! With her hands and not by the traditional brush, the use of different techniques and mediums become one. Thus, she discovers a passion for the theme of flora. The ordinal beauty embedded in a contemporary spirit where emotion, the call to the unconscious and the unexpected are found in a natural evolution of art.
Since 1998, her works have been exhibited in Montreal and are now part of numerous private collections in Canada, USA and Europe.
