Biography: Deguy

Born in Quebec in 1956, Deguy has been showing his talent with Gallery Saint-Dizier since the beginning of his professional career in 2003. Both artist and owner of a graphic design studio, Deguy has had a particularly interesting career working with the forms created from painting and the lines from drawing. His art harkens back to Quebec's modernist movement as well as an interest in pictorial abstractions. Deguy's creative spirit can be found in the density of the materials used, captured and cased in varnish so that the unique richness of his works can be displayed. His paintings are exhibited in numerous galleries throughout Canada.
