MARILYN GORDON

 

Marilyn Gordon is mostly a self taught artist specializing in pastels. She has exhibited throughout Montreal, is past president of TRAM (Table ronde sur l’art de Mont-Royal) and currently serves on RAM’s exhibition committee. She is a member of the Pastel Society of Eastern Canada, and exhibited at Galerie Artitude until its demise in 2006.

She has paintings in private collections in England, France, Switzerland, Greece, Australia, Canada, and the United States and has made several donations to charitable organizations like the Shield of Athena, local churches, and the Lakeshore General Hospital. She won First Prize for pastel at TRAM’S salon 2003, Honourable Mention at Mount Royal Cemetery in  2007, Honourable Mention at TRAM’s salon 2007,  and Host’s Award at Mount Royal cemetery in 2008. During the past year she has taken courses at TMR Recreation Centre and the Montreal Museum of Fine arts.
