Biography: Nikos Spyratos

Nikos Spyratos was born in 1961 in Athens. 1980-86 studied painting at the ASKT of Athens with professors D. Mytaras, I.Moralis, M.Lambraki-Plaka in the History of Art. 1983-85 Fresco with  G. Xynopoulos. 1983-86 Scholarship by the IKY. 1986-89 Scholarship by the ASKT for a 3 year study in Paris at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts. 1988-89 DEA in Philosophy of Arts in Sorbonne. He has participated in numerous Group and Solo Exhibitions both in Athens and Paris. His latest creations are inspired by the Greek Mythology in a modern Lyrical Style.
