Vladimir Midvichi

Vladimir Midvichi was raised in an environment where self expression was valued and encouraged and from a young age, he occupied himself with artistic exploration and creation. He explored many forms, but he best expressed himself through ancient art. He studied at O. Bancila de Lasi Art school, five years at The G. Enesco University of Art in Romania, received three diplomas in drawing, restoration and art murals, but he did not stop and he continues to search for other mediums and techniques. After having participated in many exhibitions in different museums in Romania, he established himself in Montreal where he continues his artistic activities. He was commissioner for many exhibitions, member of many art juries, participant at a McGill University conference and member of TRAM and RAEV. He creates and exhibits as an independent artist and also teaches adults and children the techniques of ancient art at the Perichorese Institut, at Valuarda School and at the Centre de loisirs CDN.
