2009 Art auction

Under the Honorary Chairmanship of Tom and Gwen Nacos, the Shield of Athena Family Services held its 16th Annual Art Exhibition and Auction on Sunday, November 8, 2009 at Bonsecours Market in Old Montreal. The event raised everneeded funds for professional and counselling services for women and children who are victims of conjugal and family violence, at our offices and also for our shelter, Athena’s House. This year, we honoured Chris Ann Nakis, who has been a committed and generous supporter of the Shield for many years, a past president and a key figure in the opening of the Shield’s shelter for women and children, Athena’s House. The event drew over 400 guests
